Interpreting

I am a
qualified ITI Arabic / English Interpreter. I am also on the National Register
of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) and a member of the Association of
Police and Court Interpreters (APCI).

As my late
father was Egyptian and my late mother was English, I learnt both Arabic and
English from a very early age, thus my wealth of terminology and knowledge of
both cultures helps me a great deal as an interpreter.

In view of the
above, I have been interpreting unofficially for a long time indeed. However,

undertaking an Arabic interpreting assignment, it would be preferable, whenever
possible to know the subject beforehand. However, Most of my interpreting work
covers: Police and Court work, Social Services and Business interviews.

Consecutive
Interpreting is offered for, Corporate Businesses, Local Authorities and
Private Individuals.
·Interpreting is
usually conducted on the client’s premises, but also in exhibitions and public
venues. Telephone interpreting is also undertaken.
